Is there a RZV500R RD500 Register ?
Where we can list Chassis numbers and locations so we know where they have all gone
I would be interested to know how many RZV500s are left in the world as im led to belive there was only 1600 made

I have thought about this however i was only looking to wrap the frontpipies of the 4 cylinders not as a performance aid but just to keep the heat away in this area so i could use the bike untill i sort some sheilds out

I'm thinking wrapping them with exhaust insulation tape could be a better solution to the standard shield as it will help carry the heat with the exhaust gasses rather than it escaping under the seat ?

Hi Guys ive inspected the upper exhaust chrome heat shields today and they are in pretty poor condition they are rusted through in places!!! Does anyone know if there is a part number for them or are they part of the exhausts? Also has any one run a bike without them or maybe used exhaust heat wrap ...

Does anyone know which ignition switches are compatable with the RZV 500R i have found this one which looks identical from a RD350 YPVS part number 1UA-82501-00
Will this fit the wiring plug looks the same and mountings

Hi guys I know most two strokes have a few rattles however my RZV seems to have a very slight rattle below 2000rpm Could this be carbs out of balance causing a bit of fight between the gear driven cranks ?
