Re: carburettors Mikuni TM 35 setup?
Hey Ron, thanks for the replay. I checked your post. Nice bike and 110hp are really good. It sounds that the Mikuni setup with the 135 main jet is not too bad. Did you also modify or exchange the reeds? Zeeltronic, good. I have also a CU, but not installed until now. Did you do a special programming...

carburettors Mikuni TM 35 setup?
Hello guys, is there anybody in, who already fixed the carburettors Mikuni TM 35 to a stage III tuned RD engine? It was a hell of work to fit them, distance plates, VForce reeds, intake pipes many grinding work … :smt010 Nothing is matching without rework, also the carbs not. :???: Several things st...

Re: Swing-arm length - how big is yours?
Hello, the CBR400RR swing arm is really beautiful, but I think it will not match to the RD frame. The suspension is bolted at the upper stiffening. No space to modify the RD frame to make it match. The exhaust is at this area. And the fixing point is alloy cast, not an alloy pipe, so not so easy to ...

Re: My Rainey Yzr
Hey Andy, I see, we are on the same wave. The 2002 R1 is the RN09. I think you saw already my 3XV under “members ride´s”, “new in”. Biaggi replica. I´m one of the lucky owners of a 1996 SP with modified frame (more stiff) and TZ 250 (2DP engine). But I crashed her 2 days ago at the circuit of Most. ...

Re: My Rainey Yzr
Well done.
Fork from the RN09?
Swing arm from the Aprilia RS250, or R6?
I tried also the R6, but it´s too long and to heavy (only my opinion).
I tried to keep the wheel base short.
But sure they are looking really good.
Nice 3XV at the background, SP?

Re: Race outfit RD 500 (Abe #9)
So guys, Back from the track, was not good, crashed my 250 :smt010 and my leg muscle got damaged and 2 cuts at the fingers. But this is another story. Back to your questions. Yes, it´s a modified RD 500 frame. About the rear shock: I did not do the modification, was done from a previous owner. But I...

Re: Race outfit RD 500 (Abe #5)
Hey pstamper, the fork I´m using is a modified R1 (RN04) one. I was looking for a YZF 750 SP fork, but could not get. I like the SP fork, good working as serial and at top the length with the same diameter is really long. So you are more flexible in adjusting the position of the handles. Now I´m usi...

Race outfit RD 500 (Abe #9)
Hey guys, finished today the race-outfit for my RD 500. The road-outfit you know already from the article “New in” under members ride. Was still not able to finish the engine. I got the carbs and so on, but the VForce 3 still missing since 5 Weeks and also waiting for the PVM rims since 24 we...

Re: YZR style bodywork questions
Hey Questo, I used the fairing from Moto Forza. Not easy to make them match to the RD body. Rd is much taller. You have to cut many single areas of the fairing and you have to extent them in the height, because the steering handles are much higher. For how much you have to extent fairing depends on ...

Re: new in
@ Wolfgang,
If you have one modification kit for dry clutch in stock and willed to offer them.
I´m interested.
I could pick it up on the Way to Pannonia.
Send me a mail, if.
Timo-wolff@web.de
Or a whatsapp +49 152 53734290.
Thanks.

Hey , oh, I would not use her in this dress at the track. The painting was too expensive to see it got damaged. This could happening at the race track from time to time. :smt010 It does not look so good to ride her at Pannonia, I ´m still struggling with the preparation of the race fairing. :...

Hello Wolfgang, I do not know. I got them with the bike. You are the guy from Austria, or? You did the modification with the dry clutch. Really nice. I´m really jealous about it. :smt010 :smt007 I will be at the 15./16.6. at the Pannonia circuit. Will you also be there? But not sure, if I will take ...

Re: DYNO RUN of my modified RD (Abe replica)
The cylinder intake and outlet is modified. Also the other exhaust, carbon membrane, modified airbox and YPVS modifed. Main jets changed to 215 caused of the bigger air flow of the airbox. I was hoping for 88hp at the rear wheel. The target is minimum 90hp at the rear wheel after the next modificati...
