Re: coil earthing

Reminder to all on the coils, they are often cracked and have a bad earth, took a year of trouble shooting and a tip from a forum member before fixing. 👍

Re: Throttle Cable Options?

Hi, no need for Billet stuff. Just buy an aftermarket RG500 throttle cable and combine it with your RD pull Cable. I did it with mine 28mm Keihin and using oil pump. You will get how to do it when you have the to cables next to each other, Let me no if you need help. / Stinke

Re: Individual / single heads from another Yamaha

Well Tacky1, Thats not a fan switch, its for my Koso instrument to measure temp. I actually removed my fan. As you can se I use the temp switch Threads for the return flow from the rear cylinders. We rarely get over 30 degrees Celsius in the summer in Sweden and I rarely drive in town so the fan is ...

Here are a few pics both of the heads installed and the cooling mod. The heads was really "bolt on" so I´m not afraid to recomend them. Merry Christmas - God Jul (in Swedish) Thanks NS86 for the tip on posting pics https://s10.postimg.org/4doi5f1g5/IMG_0043.jpg https://s10.postimg.org/a1us...

Re: Individual / single heads from another Yamaha

Hi, I installed Gus´s heads, they work great done 400km´s on them. The temperature is always around 70 Celcius. But I have done the "cooling mod" to the rear cylinders as well. I have a few pics on the assembly of the heads but I don't want to open Photbucket. Where do I load up pics easy ...

Re: Pistons

Hi, running the Yambits Mitaka. Rebuilded my engine 2 years ago, on standard bore with fresh hone and 4 new pistons.
It has mild porting, milled heads, Jollymotos, Keihin 28, zeeltronic don't drive much, but hard.
Very happy with the pistons and the price is good I think.

I bought the kx100 carbs (15003-1643), just needs another needle and main jet. The price seems to be 127 dollars on Ebay and other places. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2000-2013-KX100-KX-100-NEW-OEM-KAWASAKI-CARBURETOR-15003-1643-/400880704192?hash=item5d565a1ac0:m:ml_v6gpuhtA6DSKcv8zr_Vw&vxp=mtr&quo...

Re: Body repair and "kenny Roberts" paint

Really nice Lasse are you painting it your self?
You are absolutely right about not doing the red and white original paint scheme. May I suggest painting the frame black? I did it and its a whole different bike.
Keep up the good work and looking forward to seeing more pics.

Re: The Keihin PWK28 Carb. Thread

Hi, the lower coil bracket was broken :-) Fixed it and I added extra cables for earth. Runs great now done 50 km on it will se if it holds. Mr Stamper, it runs great with Keihins. Much better than the mikunis that I hade huge problems with ended up with Ivan-needles. It pulls at any rpm even with WO...
