Re: More Customs
Imagine that. He modified an RZ/RD500 to burn up rear tires. Kind of seems like a waste to me.... I can't believe that you imagine he modified an RZ/RD500 just to burn up rear tires. Having a bad day?? Burning up a used rear tire before replacing it is pure joy to my senses. True that having fun in...

Re: Engine start problem after TSI mods
Here you go. Compare with Wolfgang's bike being kicked (maybe 100 times). The words at the bottom explain how they started it by pushing, but after the first start, he said it was always 2 kicks. Also explains reasons it may not be kickstarting (sticking reed valves). Maybe you can judge if they kic...

Re: Engine start problem after TSI mods
Good question about the valves. OP said he checked them, so I'm assuming all is well. Your question is easy to understand. I'm not one of the engine experts around here, but clearly 125psi on all 4 cylinders is very nice and definitely not too high for the bike. If you're looking for someone that kn...

Does Anyone Index The Spark Plugs?
Anyone indexing their RZ/RZV500 spark plugs?
Curious if anyone is doing it, and if it makes a difference.
Also, what thickness of spacers do you use, and how thick is too thick?

Re: Engine start problem after TSI mods
I don't have enough strength to kick the engine to a high enough speed for the engine to start, I just have my weight to counter the compressions of the 4 cylinders. So, you can kick it over, but it doesn't start when you do it. Just curious if you are using the proper technique. I've seen owners r...

Sorry if I'm jumping the gun, but can I ask who made those pipes?
I don't have an RGV, I'm just a pipe nerd.
