Are we still pursuing this Vin, when time allows?

If you can live without your seat a couple weeks I can make molds, I’ve made many for aircraft parts and limousine body panels, so motorcycle is much easier and a lot less material. For molds it’s ok to brush on gel coat but when laminating new parts inside the finished mold I always spray the gel coat, makes for a better layup with uniform thickness overall, I like to add a strip of glass some extra all the edges so not as fragile in practical use also. Logistics are I’m in Florida USA, perfect weather for such things with plenty of UV to assist with curing but probably far from local to most on this forum I’m guessing. Never hurts to offer though

No mate sorry, Dirk (cascade500) is interested in a unit too and was contemplating buying the mould from me but just haven't had the time to find out what the postage would be.... Sorry Dirk. Maybe you and him could discuss and come to an arrangement? If interested that is?

I have had a few more inquiries regarding making more seat units so again depending on numbers I can get new quotes.

I may even offer for sale the actual mould if anyone is interested (cascade500 hasn't come back to me) £150 plus postage (mould is pretty robust so postage may be high if sending abroad)

Hi Vin,

My apologies, this completely fell off my radar. I’m still interested, either in a seat unit or the mold. Can’t believe how time flys.

Cheers,

Dirk

Hi guys,

I would rather sell on the mould as it is just collecting dust here but it is a very robust unit and weighs a bit so postage to the states won't be cheap. However the potential return will pay for itself as
l guess you may get more interest your end of the pond?

I would take £150 plus postage if anyone is interested?

I will get it weighed and an approx postage cost if anyone is seriously interested?
