Very nice - is that an RS250 swingarm? What wheel are you using on it and how well did it fit?

Is that a GSXR front end?

That front end looks like it grew there! Didn't even notice it until pointed out. Great work!!

Ya, he did a nice job, sort of looks like a mid to late 90's RZ should have - subtly updated, looks stock but with modern suspension and wheels!

Thanks for the kind words.
I wanted to update the bike but i still wanted it to look like an RZ 500
I bought the bike new in 1985 it has 27000 klms on it and just had another fresh top end. Dynoed at 100 horsepower. http://youtu.be/gvvCqJrOxCw
The difference the suspension and the new sticky 17' tyres makes in the handling is incredible.
And with the new carbs and pipes it runs beatifully.

93 RGV front end
RGV wheels
RS 250 swingarm from wolfgang
JL pipes
28mm mikuni flat slides

She looks fabulous Steve. Very very nice.
At 100 horses you must be happy. Is that purely down to the pipes, carbs and Dudley's filters or have you any porting / engine mods done? How is the delivery?

Thanks adrian
No port work just fresh top end pipes carbs and filters.
and dudleys excepional tuning of course.
Power delivery is great so much more bottom end.

I bought mine new in 1985 as well but I'm not sure which way to turn with it now. I convince myself to get rid of it then change my mind all the time!

Looking at yours, it clear you made the right decision. :smt023

Steve,
a very tasteful bike, congratulations. This inspires me to build one like that, since I still have a spare engine laying around, and a set of RS250 5-spoke wheels.

very very good looking

I LIKE IT !!!

And I also can backup for these words....

"I wanted to update the bike but i still wanted it to look like an RZ 500"

I hope my bike (RD) will look as good as yours (but without new carbs and swingarm) when I´m done after this winter...

Do have one question for you...where did you find that steeringdamper ??
Would like to get one for my bike.

Glorious mate. If you did anymore mods to it then it would be ruined...unless you did LOTS more mods to it. Just right. I'm jealous. Yup
