Hi Rich

I bought a tail section from the same guys you got yours from. as you say quality is good and having seen yours that has spurred me on with completing mine.

Thanks again for the info on the tail section,

Mate Did you cut yours down a bit on the bottom

Below a couple of photos

There are holes in the sky where the rain gets in, but the holes are small, thats why the rain is thin

Hello Andy, yes cut down to make the rear end look lighter. Cut to leave some material in below the pipes as they exit the tail unit about 1 1/4" off I think and then ran that parallel down the side using the good old dremmel to cut it off.

I like that tail section much more than AIRTEC, I'm guna get one an hack the heck out of it to really show off the upper expansion chamber system.

Hi Jim, on mine I am running a 17t Renthal R1 sprocket on the front and a 48t on the rear. Seems fine on the road, came to this gearing from somewhere on the forums here. I believe the reasoning behind a 17t front was to clear the bigger swingarm tube of a different swingarm. The only issue is the chain just touches the rubber damper on the Lomas bracket that supports the left hand front pipe but once sat on the bike and suspension sits down a bit all ok so far. I am using a Fazer 600 swingarm and Thundercat 600 wheels which are 17" with a 160/70 rear tyre.
Not sure what gearing Andy is using on his.
