I am using the electrolysis method on my old RD 350 tank and so far pretty impressed. This picture was from the second cleaning. I replaced the coat hanger and going for a few more hours this morning. I will mix some two stroke oil in the fuel and going to try the POR15 sealant since the tank was so bad. Hope to have it running later today after probably 15 plus years of sitting. Ignition set, new plugs, new heavy duty fuel filters, and we will see.

Thanks for sharing.
It looks pretty effective, better than filling the tank with small stones and shaking, or the vinegar method..!
Hope the 350 starts up without issue, fingers crossed.

Zapped it one more time with new anode and looked like the other one. Have a filter to install inline. had a few leaks that I JB welded years ago. Tried my hand at soldering and it worked. I am going to use a heat gun to lay a few spots flatter so I can touch up. Does not leak so this is a good thing. Premix in the tank and hope to start in a short time.
