At the recent Nate Kern Double R festival at Circuit Of The Americas in November one of the moto-journalist came over after testing the new HP4 Carbon Fiber Race bike at the event. We had a common passion the RZ. Happy to say a new friend. He was like a little kid when he came over after seeing it go down the track. We talked and I am happy and proud to share his article.

Thanks guys. Makes me feel even better that you guys know how it made me feel to see him riding it down pit lane. His grin was too big. Bike would have never made it to where it is without everyone on the forum helping with there knowledge. I am a nut and bolt kinda guy. The critical stuff is better handled buy the pros. I will post the rough info I sent him with the extra technical info setting the bike up to where it is.

I have to give praise where it is deserved. Rick Lance with an engine and carbs that have been flawless for many track miles as well as helping my riding style for engine management while on track. John with RD's ONLY TEXAS for helping in the pits, setting suspension, and constantly reminding me to be light on the grips to loose my arm pump. P1 RACING for suspension help and the amazing Pirelli tires. And last is Kris Lillegard showing me what the bike is capable of in professional hands and Ty Howard for improving my body position and focus.

Looking forward to next year and best wishes to Pete. We all have that two stroke dna pumping thru us and glad to have seen your work. Keep us updated.

Happy New Year to everyone. All I supplied was the food for his memory. Still like him enjoying the RZ more than the HP4 Race BMW. He needed a little more instruction on engine management on the bike. We chatted and I told him he could of been up two gears in most areas. We also talked wheels. To bad the set of blue ones got away last year.
