My New RG500

#1 Post by Ade SYM » Thu Jan 05, 2017 9:47 am

Just sold my RGV500 and have always been looking for an RG500 as I have never had one.

Been looking for some time then found this one - New the where about of the bike but took a little time to convince the owner to part with it.

A few pictures for you all

The single seat unit is an original one but will need to be painted again so it matches perfectly.

The bike runs great and is in great condition and look forward to riding it when the weather gets a little better

Thanks

Ade

Very nice Ade. Beautiful bike.

My solo seat cowl has the same colour variation. I bought it new from Suzuki and it was painted by the same guy that painted the bike using the same can of paint. The cowl is black when it comes from Suzuki and it seems to affect the way the white comes through.

That is exactly the colour scheme I always envision the 500 Gamma in. I had an '84 RG250 in the same scheme - and when parked along side and Rg500 in the family colours, few pairs of bikes look better - except maybe an RZV500/TZR250 1KT :)

Awesome looking bike - when seen like that and presented in what looks to be great shape they beg to be left bog stock standard.
