Sorry John, just speculating as I have no experience importing a vehicle. Last time I imported pipes it cost almost 20% more than the price between sales taxes and import duties and I am almost certain they will charge them. Not likely to come in legally as a GIFT! 6.1 % Duties for non Nafta Vehicle and 5% GST. Probably PST or HST on registration also, so it is quite a bit
