Are they anodised or painted?
I love that colour!

Hey Nick,

That is one of the nicest builds I have ever seen! Makes me want to redo mine. I am restoring my own Gamma at the moment. Getting close, but far from done at the same time. I bought a tail piece from air tech as well. My tail light hole was F'n ridiculous! 1/2 inch on the bottom and a 1/4 most everywhere else, crooked to boot! There are other issues as well( fuel tank like yours). I hope they will replace mine for me and not even cut the tail light section out!

Let me know if you have any left over OEM bits. I have to order the rad hoses as well etc. if you have a good place your getting your OEM parts from I would really appreciate the info.

Can't wait to see the finished pics.

Cheers
Scott

Best of luck with your surgery...I hope everything goes as planned. Get after your rehab, it's very important.

Awesome build! I'm watching this thread with great interest. My first post here...just picked up an 85 RG400 project and am doing lots and lots of reading here looking for tips.

Thanks, it went very well this time. 6 years ago I had my right shoulder operated on and when I awoke I was in massive pain all over my whole body and felt like shit for a few days.
This time I woke up and had no pain at all but a felt little loopy at first, then I had my wife take me to have lunch at a Japanese restaurant. :smt003
It seems that if you work out at the gym and stay in good shape physically and cardio wise it makes a difference.

Good to hear Nick. I had my ACL replaced in my left knee, no major pain and didnt do any rehab, never wore the brace. Was lucky, had a great doctor.

Swing arm parts back from Andrews Powder Coating, took pics then sent the swing arm to rgvsteve.com to have him press in the bearings.
All the sanding on the top part of the swing arm made a difference, black shows everything.
Its looks very smooth.

Gold anodized nuts for some contrast against the black, the bolts will be done in black at a later time.
