Use this area to discuss anything you may want to as it relates to Bimota's unusual, v-twin V-Due GP replica machine. Ask other owners questions on performance issues, post pictures of your ride, or talk about how to get the most enjoyment from your V-Due !

Hi Tom

About 10 years ago, I went to Laguna Seca, and there was a booth there where they had a V-Due, and were going to start it. They did start it, and it did not carburate cleanly at all, as it was one of the first ones. What was striking was that it was IMPOSSIBLE to tell the difference between it and my RZ500 by the noise it made............ It was then that I realized that the RZ is timed so that two pistons fire at the same time. I would have thought that the V-Due would have been a little less "clattery" than the RZ.

It was very pretty at least.
