Re: How Are These Pipes Made?
"Finally found someone in my part of the world to make custom pipes. Drove over 14 hours in one day to get the first bike to Jeff Henise. Starting with stainless gp pipes. Will have some one-off touches to the pipes I haven't seen before.
If things go well, titanium pipes next."
so the 'test" is polished stainless?
did he quote you on the titanium GP ? you can PM if you prefer, but I'm interested in a set too.

Is he going to do your pipes
Re: How Are These Pipes Made?
These pipes are for the street supermoto project.
The pipes are stainless because I decided color-annealed titanium would be too colorful to use with the supermoto engine. Don't want to build what RGVSteve calls a "clown bike".

How about these long, straight header sections?Jeff B wrote:I like one-off touches!!Smoker wrote: Will have some one-off touches to the pipes I haven't seen before
I know it's better to have a more gradual curve at the bottom of the headers, but everything on the frame and swingarm are straight lines and triangles/angles.
Now drawing up some stainless machined spring hooks.
Never seen machined spring hooks.
More coming soon.

Yeah, without my sense of humor, I'd be pretty miserable.silverstrom wrote: Noticed the new avatar Pete. The dark humor isn't lost on me.
Considering using interchangeable nozzles in the stinger connections for tuning.
