John

All the two strokes I have the Japanese always asked me. Why do you want the two stroke junk. I have seen stuff left out in shops where it cost more money to repair an engine than the bike is worth. A good example are the VJ22. You want swingarm? you take everything. Undo upper shock mount. pivot shaft and dog bones. I literally got complete suspension in crates this way.

They don't think very highly of certain two strokes.

I have been doing business with Miyabee for years. Sometimes it's good and sometimes not so much. Just be careful and understand what you are buying and its actual condition, which can vary greatly from their description. Shipping costs can be ridiculously high at times.

Hi John

I met Naomi and her significant other several times when they came over to San Francisco. On one occasion we had lunch and other occasion we went to dinner in japan town. I bought six motorcycles from them. I sold them my Kawasaki turbo and two KZ900. I never had any problems. They were aware of bringing in two strokes into America and were very diligent in setting up the crates to get the bikes into the country. I also know one of her employee Mariko used to live in Torrance in southern California where a lot of Japanese car and motorcycle offices are.

The 3MA tap retails for 6750 Yen from dealers in Japan. If enough people are interested in purchasing one, I'll start another group buy for this part.

sorry to resurrect this..
does the tzr 3ma filter/valve clear the heat shield underneath the tank when fitted?

I want to fit quick disconnects with shut off so i can remove the tank quickly/easily but I cant find any 10mm fuel hose quick disconnects with shut off, only 6mm or 8mm or else 10mm quick disconnect without shut off. So the 3ma filter/vlave would be great as I could use the 10mm quick disconnects without shut off but still be able to shut the fuel off at the filter.

Has anyone bought a 3ma fuel filter assembly recently and if so how much did you pay? I need one for my RZ but cant find them any cheaper than about £80

I see them on japanese websites a bit cheaper but cant figure out how to buy one!!

Megazip is a good source for NOS parts.
I use auctions.yahoo quite often.
And I have been buying from Naomi for close to 5 years now.
She will be at MidOhio this year for vintage days.

Is there any source for the molded fuel lines for RZ500?

There's one on ebay from Singapore but it's expensive. I can see them on Japanese websites (like Yahoo Japan) for much cheaper but can't figure out how to buy them. When it comes to the part where you enter your address you have to pick a district in Japan. I can't see an option to put in an international address.
