Hey BIG GUY , I have 1988 Tom Crawford hydro formed expansion chambers , rest is all bone stock , carbs have 195 main jet on all four carbs , runs awesome at sea level ........... 1985 RZ500

My first hot rod has bored stock carbs and Turfrey pipes. BJ did the porting and head work. Made 98.5 on the dyno with a nice power band. As good or better than my bike with 28 flat slides and similar work.

Thanks Mike, that sounds very encouraging! I'm sure the porting had alot to do with this. Thank you for confirming that this is indeed possible. I might be asking alot here but do you know how big he went? Where they bored offset from center? Also lnterested in any jetting info you might have? Sorry for all the questions and thank you for the reply

No problem, 27.5mm and I don't think they were bored off center but I'm no sure.
