Home made carb clamps

So I couldn't find any carb clamps to buy
So I had a go at making my own ,,

That's pretty cool! I think I'm using RD400 clamps with a really long screwdriver. They work, but they are a pain in the butt to get to.

Just to add to this , I tried them with
The carbs and heat shields on and they
could do with being about 20mm longer
so I've orded some M4 x100 mm ,

Are those spacers between the manifolds and the block? I don't remember seeing them on my friends engine...

Tony, those 'spacers' are the reed blocks which the RD engine uses.
