I know your situation and appreciate that you invest so much money to make such parts available.
But 95$ for KOYO bearings is the Yambits price, they earn a lot with this bearings (not talking about Yamaha...)

I have a set here, for 50€ (~60$) for one crank including VAT it`s yours - no difference to the Yamaha bearings (I have one of each type for comparison).
And here we are talking about a price for 4 bearings - if you buy 400 sets, as a company without VAT the price will go down to maybe 25€/set.
Buying them in Japan would probably make it even cheaper.

But you have to buy it on your own from a source where you know that they are no fake bearings.
Buying real "unknown brand" bearings is better than using fake Koyo...

By the way, did you think about selling the single parts of the cranks?
My bikes:
RD500 YPVS 1GE
RD350 YPVS 31K 1985
Honda CBR 1000 RR SC57
Yamaha R1 RN04

I took every precaution to make sure nothing happened and no one contacted me saying hey my crank took a shit, but who knows
Yes, I understand the overall cost. I was only talking about the cost of the 4 main crank bearings and wanted to compare Japanese made to Indian made. I can only assume that the Indian bearings were significantly cheaper. And yes, I do know the work that goes into it and the effort on your end. I didn't suggest it was an easy task. I only questioned why Indian bearings were used rather than Japanese. Your answer was purely to save money, and that's fair.

This started with me asking for the crank specs and then bearing specs . I think those are also fair questions for anyone considering buying cranks.

While you're still on this site I have a question for you. A few years ago (11 March 2014) I shipped you pair of RZ350 heads. I sent you the heads at no cost to you and I even paid the express shipping. You were going to machine the heads, o-ring them, and re-profile the domes. You were going to keep one head and you promised to send the other head back to me. I'm still waiting for you to return that head to me. I asked your son about it many times but the answer was always that you were travelling and would do it when you got home. Your son said it was never shipped. What happened to that head?

Ian at Classic Race Replicas has reconditioned cranks if yours is beyond rebuilding.

I've tried that on several occasions before...he never has them in stock. Click on "Add to basket"
I bought Gus's RD cranks many years ago and would happily buy again!
