RZ carbs to RD500

#1 Post by RichardUK500 » Fri Dec 22, 2017 1:04 pm

Hi,

I have read so many posts etc but I am still not 100% sure as what i need to change when putting RZV carbs on a RD500.

What do i need to change? I think just the main jet to a 165 yes? I can leave the pilot jet and the pilot air jet (in the intake bell mouth) and the emulsion tubes as is yes?

Thanks in advance for help.

I'm pretty sure the RZV has different emulsion tubes. I believe that they have a different number of holes in the sides.
