I am still working on getting these reproduced. I have the prototypes back from the manufacturer but we are looking at a few changes to streamline the reproductions. I'm hoping to have something by mid to late spring as I have to fit up the new reproductions when I get them and make certain that the function is great.

Keep checking back for any updates.

PN: 47x-1133e-00 and 47x-1133f-00

I got a new set of OEM stuff from Rockys Wheels and Deals in Nova Scotia a few years ago.

If you can't find any new ones and you're handy in the shop, you can make them like I did. A good bicycle shop will have the same size lined cable housing, inner cable, and end ferrules. They might even have the end barrels but I made mine and silver soldered them on. I reused the original adjusters. It's critical that you get the inner length relative to the outer the same as the original so measure carefully.

Can someone please post the correct dimensions for the cables?

A CAD drawing of the inner cables, outer housings, and barrels would help members DIY the cables or order from a custom shop. The drawings should be much easier than some of the complex parts that have been posted.

With the correct measurements, it's easy to get custom cables. I've had several made already. The only RZ500 YPVS cables I have are on the bike, or I would measure them myself.

Reminds me that I need custom YPVS cables for my supermoto project. I'll post pics when they're done.

That's my plan.....but asked just incase someone had already had them reproduced.

£120 for some used ones is a bit steep for me, but thanks for the reply.

The outer cable has lost its plastic so will either resleeved it or replace just the outer
