Oil injector check valves

I had a leaking check valve so installed an in-line check valve on each line. Having done that, is there any adjustment or precaution one should take? I'm not sure if doubling up on check valves would require more pressure for lubrication in the event one or more of the original check valves is not faulty.

You shouldn't need to do anything unless you lost a lot of oil from the 4 lines. When I installed the inline valves I ran the bike on a portable bottle of premix until I was sure the lines were primed. Then I went back to the fuel tank. 5 minutes is plenty to prime the oil lines. Use the throttle to increase oil flow.

Many thanks for the responses! That's correct on the p/n - I bought them at boats.net.
And thank you Silverstorm - this puts my mind at ease.
The arrow goes in the flow direction toward the motor, right?

Does anybody know of a UK supplier for these? Postage From US is around the £20 mark!

Cheers,
Paul.

It's a yamaha part, ask your local dealer if he can order it.

I have fitted these check valves with no issues (other than stopping the leaking of oil into the exhausts when standing)

You can order from Fowlers - it will still be cheaper to get them from boats.net if you don't have to pay import charges - if you do - it will be about the same for 4 check valves.

Cheers

Ouch - just found my invoice I paid $87 back in 2016 (so about £60 at the time). Never had any leaks since though, I used to get a huge build up of 2 stroke in the exhaust if stood for a while (which my bike does a LOT)

I fitted mine under the cover plate rather than next to the pump

US suggested retail is $21.70 each for 6E9-13183-70. I believe that some dealers charge somewhat above retail for parts though. They are in stock at all three US warehouses.
