CONFUSED: Silkolene Comp 2 Injector or Comp 2 PLUS

#1 Post by trix » Fri Nov 07, 2008 9:25 pm

Fuch's website seems to indicate that their Silkolene Comp 2 is better for the RD5 than their Comp2 Plus. The more expensive Comp 2 Plus is fully synthetic so I thought it would have been better. Perhaps the cheaper Comp 2 (semi synthetic) causes less carbon build up??

What do you guys recommend?

From the Fuch's website;

Make YAMAHA
Model Motorcycles: RD500LC
Engine 2 str.
Year 1984-87

Application
Engine (2 str.) (Inj)
Best: Comp 2 Injector
Better: Comp 2 Plus

Gearbox
Best: Light Gear Oil (i)
Better: Comp Gear (i)
Good: Pro SRG 75 (i)
