Trackday MSR Houston March 2012

During the first outing the bike may have been jetted a little fat as it struggle to rev out - so the for the second track day replaced the foam filters for mesh leaf guards and to try keep the bike in the upper revs and better match the gearing to the short track I went up a tooth on the rear sprocket and boy what a difference that made.
I used the same set of Michelin Power One 2CT's as the first event - they worked well but did give me a little surprise towards the end of the day, although it may just have been the track surface but as you will see at 14:40ish in the video the front washes out in a left hander and I don't believe my superior skill saved the day, it was just luck that my knee delayed the fall and the front skipped to a grippier section of tarmac.
But it was the last session of the day and I was getting tired I decided to pack it in.
The tired tires
This was also the operation debut of the Race Van
Between sessions
The on track exploits
