These came out OK. Photographer takes so many shots he has an issue with focus on the bikes. A lot of blurred shots. The photographer with BMW group seems better. It was 102 degrees on Saturday and 100 on Sunday. Skipped session and constant hydration and additional electrolytes and energy Gu packages . End of the day sessions were the worst with temperatures. Lots of crashes with track getting greasy from heat and rubber put down by cars. Mostly Level 3 guys.

Pike performed flawless with slight stumble in normal hard lefts at turn 12 and turn 20. Shortened brake marks to near 100 meters on front straight, 150 to 175 meters on back straight, and a lot of trail braking. You can see the braking in the 8th picture. The new Brembo lever is two finger pull. I could move both markers further because I am still coasting to the apex of the corners. Tire wear was perfect and came of track at around 175 degrees. Only hit shift lever one time all weekend turn 11. Two mis shifts, back straight and videoing my buddy on his ZX6 into stadium complex.

Developed small oil leak on Sunday. Appears to be from the injection pump. Engine oil not injector oil. Must be the seal. Was coming from top of engine case. I stuffed some blue paper towels at pump and taped it in place. No issues the last two sessions. Going to take it apart since we are in the middle of tropical storm Harvey.

Here are the pictures and so happy I went with the Valvoline scheme and big thumbs up on the Taichi gloves..

It has been fun getting more comfortable on the bike. My main key is to keep my left pelvis from cramping. I am constantly stretching and riding my bicycle all day. With the rain here I took the bike apart to find either a check valve or line leak. Spayed it down with simple green and stuffed tissue around the main feed line.
