Suspension Knuckle Bolt and Sleeve Nut

#1 Post by rd84 » Wed Jan 25, 2017 9:27 am

Hi,

I'm using an aftermarket bolt and sleeve nut to locate the suspension knuckle- is the bit that goes through the frame. When fully tightened there is about 1 to 2mm of left right play on the bolt and sleeve nut - is this correct or should I put a washer in to take up the slack ?

Thanks.

Cheers
Paul

Do you mean this area?

Sounds that you forgot the small collar on the bolt head side.
Not really good to see as bolt and collar are both yellow on the picture (right side)

The bolt needs to clamp the 2 bearing collars of the relay arms to the middle section of the frame.

Honda CBR 1000 RR SC57
Yamaha R1 RN04
