Hi,
The mirror bolt changed from 10mm by 30mm 90105-10330 on the 47X to 8mm by 25mm 91026-08025 on the RD500. Checking early and late RZV500's we see the same thing. At the same time the mirrors on both models carry the same part numbers between late and early models respectively (Although RZV and RD mirrors are different of course) which suggests that these might not have changed ?
The fairing subframe numbers also changed from 47X to 1GE and 51X to 1GG respectively.
Has anyone come across this problem before ?
Thanks.
Cheers
Paul

Re: Mirror Bolt Mystery
Yes, subframes are different between 47X and 1GE.
Only difference is the size of the mirror bolts and don't know why.
Changed one on my 47X and didn't notice when I ordered it from 1GE parts-list.
What a good surprise when it arrived !

Re: Mirror Bolt Mystery
But the mirrors have not changed part numbers?
Would mean on the 1GE the mirrors have 10mm holes for M8 bolts?
I can check the mirrors on my parts bike, they are original Yamaha mirrors.
If they have a 8mm hole it would not be possible to mount them on a 47X bike (?!)

Yes, mirrors didn't change, still 47X parts with 10mm hole.
