Ohlins
I need a rear Ohlins made for my frame kit. I have the dimensions I need. Anyone with detail of a distributor that can help make one to my spec? Tried a couple in the states but they can’t be bothered to reply. Don’t care where it comes from!

Re: Ohlins
The shock in the photo above should have a model number stamped on it.
You can check if this part number is available. This shock may be used for several bikes.
If the shock body is available, you can have it set up with the proper lower eye to get the correct length for the RZ500. You may need to add appropriate bushings, as well. If you want the remote reservoir, a shock head can be installed with a fitting for the hose. I had it done to my Ohlins RZ350 (non-reservoir) shock.

Re: Ohlins
Ohlins reference for RD500LC is YA-438 (S46HR1C1)
Seems to be still available but at more than 1 000 €.

Re: Ohlins
What is the "frame kit" you are referring to?
The shock fitment is different than an RZ500 frame?

Re: Ohlins
I pay service for replaces every thing around 400 € (including my moto shop charging, since I can't walk into the dealer because not sold by them), rather buy a new but not available....

Frame is from 2moto. Wanted to get an Ohlins from the states, but no reply from any of their distributors. Thoroughly recommend Mark at Harris performance in uk who has sorted out exactly what I need. Cheers
