RZ500 Swingarm Pivot Bolt to Floor Measurement

#1 Post by Smoker » Thu Oct 18, 2018 4:39 pm

Need the measurement from swingarm pivot bolt center to floor.

Best if the RZ has 17 inch wheels, but any info will be helpful, even a stock bike.

Measurement does not have to be super accurate, a tape measure is okay.

Bike straight up, on it's wheels, no stand.

Would help me out a lot! :smt006

Hi Pete, stock rz500 390mm my other RZ RGV swingarm 17inch wheel was 390 as well.
Standard RZ running Bridgestone tyres. I'm using Nitron adjustable ride height shock with the 17 inch wheel.
Cheers Mate.
Ron.

Appreciate that, Ron! :smt006

Trying to use an R6 front end and bare RZV frame on jacks. Don't have the swingarm.

Want to mock up a custom headlight and need the front end close to the proper angle.

Also want to measure some frame angles for the new round tube swingarm.

Was in a hurry to send out my swingarm because I don't know how long it will take to copy.
