That is apparently what it was built to use, fits great, but has 3 wires output instead of the 2 the rz has.
The RZ is super simple, just changes resistance from 1.4 ohms empty to 22 ohms full, the YSR is different - it has a diode in it according to the wiring diagram.
On the RZ one wire goes to ground, one to the low oil bulb, on the YSR it is the same, one ground, one low oil bulb and the 3rd wire labelled Sb goes to a wire that goes to the neutral switch that when closed goes to ground and the same wire also connects to a control unit. Maybe that needs grounded to give proper output.
Has anyone made one of these work, or is there a different one that would work better?
Thanks
Rob
Anyone used a YSR50 oil level sensor in underseat tank?

Ok figured it out - found the trouble shooting steps for the YSR and you just use the outside 2 wires - Black goes to Black on the RZ, Black/Red goes to Black/White on the RZ. Sensor full up (or turned upside down) is an open circuit and the light will not come on, the sensor full down indicating an empty tank will start to flicker the light near the end of the travel and then the light will come full on when the sensor is full down.
The Sky Blue Sb wire is just unused and the sensor seems to be fine!
Hopefully this helps someone else out as I could not find any info searching around the forum.

i have the under seat oil tank and it has the rz 350 2 wire sender unit which seems to work fine.
