#1 Post by hail seizure » Fri May 04, 2012 3:33 pm

Hi all,my self cancelling function is not working.Is there a self cancelling
unit like on the 350's and where is it located please?
Also there is a 3 pin connector behind the clocks with nothing plugged
into it. Is there supposed to be a sensor or something there?

Bike is a 1985 RZV500R.
link to a pic of connector;

Mike, that is for the speed sensor that tells the red light in the taco to come on when you exceed 80 km p/h, so the speedo is not RZV. I expect it's a mph one?

Ah! That's why it's not working then!
Could it be retro fitted?
The bike is fitted with a MPH speedo.
Red speed light doesn't work so must
Be disconnected.
