#1 Post by bolly » Wed Jun 19, 2013 6:32 pm

lotsa good info about smaller sized batterys on the forum but I can't find what maximum size the battery can be to be able to remove it from the bike without removing the tailpiece and loosening the pipe.... anybody know the size of a battery that will work?

I always use RG500 batteries, just enough smaller to slip in and out. I'll give you the number when I get home.

The battery number is BTL5X-BS. Just enough smaller to clear the pipe.

Me too. Just take the side panel off and wiggle the battery out. It takes a few times to get it just right, but it is possible to remove and install it.
