Hi

looking to replace my HT leads & plug caps & was wondering what caps & leads are recommended ?

Also the plug leads I have on my bike have metal braids coming off them which are then fastened to the frame i suppose to make an earth, is this necessary ? electrics not my strong point lol.

thanks

Steve

any thoughts are these good for our bikes RZV with the built in capacitor & earth connection etc ?

thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

My original bike doesn't have anything like you describe on the HT leads - so they aren't necessary - however they do sound good in the advert ! - I wonder if they cut down on electrical interference ? - I think if you look on Wemoto or Yambits websites they should have something for you ? - I think I've seen stuff on ebay as well if you do a search.

Cheers
Paul

Hi Paul & thanks for your reply m8.

I was dead confused when looking at my plug leads with the earth wire coming off them as i had never seen anything like it on bikes i have owned in the past. Was thinking about replacing with some new NGK caps & HT leads, but like you, after reading the info on the website/advert thought i may keep them as they do sound rather posh lol. Not had the bike that long & was planning on doing some bits & pieces to it over the winter & thought leads & plug caps would be a good thing to replace as they could be old, but now not sure wether to replace or not.
