manual switch to operate the cooling fan

#1 Post by william2rcc » Sat Mar 24, 2018 11:24 pm

I try to use a manual switch to operate the cooling fan, i.e the "thermo switch" still function, although I don't turn on the switch, but I can not find the "thermo switch", in the circuit show the cooling fan motor negative is always ground, the cooling fan positive is through "thermo switch" to 12v+, please help me to do it, thank you!
P.S I already done on my NS400R add a manual switch to operate the cooling fan.

You only need to "bypass" the switch with a second mechanical switch.
If one of both is closed the fan will be on.

You can simply make an intermediate adapter between the thermo switch and the original connector.

Thermo switch is near the thermostat under the fuel tank.
