Factory paint work questions
The rz500 i recently purchased has the most hideous 2 tone paint job. Would anybody have a layout of the red along each side? My belly pan wasnt painted. So at least i have that going for me !

Re: Factory paint work questions
Thank you very much silverstrom. I will gladly take you up on that offer. I was hoping to find another machine to copy from. I was trying to find a bike to examine. For some reason they arent so easy to find in a parking lot. I was at royal distributing on saturday and there wasnt one two stroke bike in parking lot ! Go figure.

Re: Factory paint work questions
Even the mirrors didn't escape...
Still, Itll look great when it gets a nice new layer of paint, Looks like a good solid bike to start with.

Re: Factory paint work questions
Thats just my bike for spare parts.
Fairings are anyway fiberglass (except the rear), wheels are ready for new satin black paint.
This is the project bike.
Paint is not that special as the other one.
Looks quite nice on the pictures but has a lot of little problems why I decided to restore it from the frame up (and then the CAD project was started...).
Basically the front power valves which were stuck are the reason why I started to disassemble the bike instead of just doing some repair work.
"good parts" of this bike like the wheels, brake rotors... will be kept in original condition and I will use the restored parts (coming from the other bike) when I`m happy with the result.
