Yes sir. Been making those for some years now. Work with any carb size too. $185.00 plus shipping.

Cool. I mated the stock one to two banshee splitters and it's working ok. One day I would like to incorporate a TPS though to work with the zeeltronic

That's the typical resolution to the aftermarket carb fitting. It's ok but not the best. What carbs are you using now?

I like my solution a lot, it incorporates a TPS as well as very low friction (important if you use 4 large carbs with heavy springs). I used the throttle splitter unit off an APRILIA RS250 and modified it to accept 4 cables out instead of the 2+1.

Wolfgang,

I too like your design but find it either difficult to mass produce and for the average 500 owner the TPS is irrelivant. As for the heavy carb springs I cut them down to lessen the difficulty. I also incorporate the oil pump cable as well. Your's is super cool for sure though.

I put 4 brand new PWK28's on mine. Nothing too fancy.

I did see your solution Wolfgang, but I don't really have the facilities to customise that like you have.
I even thought about potentially making something up that could adapt to the oil pump and control the TPS to move with the oil pump.

My bike is going extremely well at the moment since my latest mods, so I can only imagine how it would be with the timing optimised properly with a TPS.

Hi Bill,

Can I ask if there were any problems fitting the FZR750R/FZR1000 Genesis front end with R1 brakes. Any issues with the steering stem or clearance with the oil and header tanks etc ? - steering lock and stops ?

Thanks.

Cheers
Paul

Hello Fellow Club Members and Future Club Members:

So I finally bought a battery and started testing all the wiring now that it's back on the bike. Found a few things as one might imagine.

- Horn did not work at all. Removed it and hooked it direct to the battery still dead, replaced with another one I had, now good to go.
- My most anticipated wiring piece, the tail light integrator installation, well it wasn't working right to start. (Helps when you check the 30 year old bulbs first)! Spent 20 minutes looking at wiring diagrams and double guessing my wiring before checking the bulbs! End of that story is it's working perfect. I might even post a shorty video showing.
- Mounted the custom fender eliminator bracket I made.
- Custom soldered new ground wires to the front flush turn signals as the originals used the screws of which I eliminated early on.

YPVS servo cycles nice everytime the key is on. I haven't checked for spark but am pretty sure we should be good. Time will tell.

DONE!!!!!!!

Just in time to hand deliver the World of Wheels car show application! What a monumental task this has been. My wife, bless her heart, has been more than patient and it's now done, done, done.

I'll have way better pictures done later but these were today just after final assembly. The sun wasn't out at all and the prismatic simply looks black, but it really shines in the sun.

Enjoy and thanks again for all the support and encouragement over these past few years.

Very nice Bill. Came together well. I love the back of the bike. Is that wheel decals? Hope you have some warmer weather for some riding.

I thought it was going to turn out quite gaudy, but I was wrong.

With the OEM bodywork - your colorful mods give it a nice pop.

Very well done! :smt038

Thanks for sharing the details of your build.

That came together nice. The red rear tire messes with my head, does it smell of raspberries when you do a burnout? ; )
