I would like to use slightly more 21st century mirrors, without any mods to the attachment point, which you seem to have achieved. What bike are yours for?

Stefan
Stefan,

I used an aftermarket mirror from a Kawasaki Ninja with carbon lookalike print. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rear-Mirror-For ... 2P&vxp=mtr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Essentially I removed the base mounting from the stem of the mirror then reamed out the mounting hole to fit the RZ's mirror bolt. The RZ's rubber boots were then fitted to the stems. I did need to bend rotate the RZ's mirror mounting to allow for the correct positioning of the mirror stem through the cowling hole. Overall I think they look OEM and add a lot of modern appeal to the bike.

Recently was asked to prepare some shots of the bike for a magazine article. I hired a photographer to shoot the bike at our local airport. I'm waiting on his pictures now but took the following myself.

You've got to be kidding!

The red tire matches the frame and engine perfectly. :smt003

Looks like the frame got fresh coat of paint also? Maybe not, could just be the angles?
