Re: Track bike progress
I will aim to stay below 680 deg C at WOT - today we had max. 580 on the dyno runs
Re: Track bike progress
Thank you Smoker for re-posting these pics. They show the very first dyno run last year.
Re: Track bike progress
That sir is a beautiful bike! Among many great things about it is the faring fitment. Looks like it grew there. Well done.

Re: Track bike progress
What a piece of art. I've been watching your builds for quite a time. If I may ask - what is the reasoning behind the silencers from the lower cylinders being so short? They look too short to me to be period authentic. And - do they pass the scrutineers at the track?
Thanks for sharing this beautiful build. It's an inspiration to us not at the same level.

Hi Knut,oktrg500 wrote:If I may ask - what is the reasoning behind the silencers from the lower cylinders being so short? They look too short to me to be period authentic.
I have genuine silencers from a YZR500 works bike as ridden by Wayne Rainey on my other YZR500 replica (the orange ANTENA3 bike), and they are the exact same dimensions

Re: Track bike progress
SO SO SWEET. BEAUTIFUL wish I had that talent.
Re: Track bike progress
The dyno graphs posted above are from last year, the first runs after completing the engine. I wanted to share this week´s dyno charts resulting in 119,1PS but Photobucket does not allow me to share with 3rd party.
Re: Track bike progress
If you still have access to your Photobucket account (with no 3rd party sharing), go ahead and post the pics. I can fix them.wolfgangh wrote:The dyno graphs posted above are from last year, the first runs after completing the engine. Or you may want to try using postimage.org. No need to sign up.
