Modified 500

Hi all new to the forum, I'm in the middle of modifying my 500 and need some advice from someone who has done the same.
I've had the motor done to stage 3 by Stan Stephens and had an r6 front and rear modified to fit with no modifications to the frame so that can put the standard parts back on in the future.
My question is the ignition switch? The rd ignition won't fit the modified r6 top yoke and the r6 ignition has different number of wires than the rd one.
Can anybody help

I run an R6 front in mine, I used the RDRZ500 ignition, I did have to mod the lock part on the frame slightly to get it to work, It was only a little grinding, the stock forks and ignition still work perfectly as I checked, I didn't want to mod my frame where I couldn't run the stock suspension.

Here you can see a stock type RZ ignition switch mounted to the R6 upper triple.

I may have used longer standoffs in the end to recess the switch down lower.

Like tacky1 I had to do some grinding on the switch where the steering lock pin comes out.

if you like a mod from an earlier bike. I did my front end from a YZF750. I bought a lock set from a 88 or 89 FZR1000. I also picked up a junk tank from the FZR1000. I had the aircraft flush mount gas cap for the RZ gas tank. The neat thing about the 88- 89 FZR1000 key set. You can remove the pig tail from the ignition of the FZR100 and use the RZ pig tail. The helmet and seat lock are the same.
