So as you can see the top 2 exhausts
are fitted and subframe nearly complete ;)
Battery box made but might need to go
Smaller now !
The cdi I got with the bike is very
Intermittent , it works if you warm it up
which is s bit strange so looking for a new
one or go to Zeeltronic .

Finally got the side stand done ,repositioned the spring
Putting the pin on the back and moving the spring hook.
After moving my rear sets down an inch the gear lever
Hit the stand and I couldn't get gears , what a ball ache ?

Fun and games tonight ,, put the bike together to start
her for the first time and the engine locked solid !!!
Luckily it wouldn't start .
I thought it had hydro locked with fuel
so dismantled it again , no fuel found .
Removed the clutch casing thinking something was
amiss in there and found this ?

Both crank end nuts were not tightened up and the lower one
Had wedged it's self against the crank case , thank god
It didn't start as I'm sure it would have destroyed my
Very expensive engine ?

We've all had those WTF was I thinking moments. Glad you escaped relativity unscathed.

There is a lesson there for all of us. Check, check, and check again.

I've become very OCD with that sort of thing now. Always making lists to make sure I don't miss anything. Sometimes it works.

I agree , but I bought the engine already built
and I wouldn't normally take it apart again
To check everything is in order , lesson
Learnt though !!
