Both cranks looked to be in very good condition.
Cleaned everything up, and all bearings but one spun/felt perfect....but at 35 years old, I decided to take no chances.
The rest of my bearings showed up this past week, so it was time to finally get this crank boxed and shipped out today and get them ALL replaced
Do it right the first time, for peace of mind while on the road....Cylinders went out too for next size up pistons/rebore

Sent cranks out for a rebuild.
Two weeks later....and $$$....
And I just got them back today, now I can really start making some progress....

Image

Cylinders were sent out at the same time for a rebore to get rid of the damn rust.
Came back looking new. Put my cleaned up powervalves in with all new seals.
Ready to get some pistons put in them now.

Was given one set of rings the wrong size with my piston kit. (Yambits helped immediately / excellent service from them)
New rings showed up a few days ago and finally put my last cylinder on today, ready to be torqued down, then.....
....put into the frame....Finally

Also my pipes showed up today as well.........!!!!!

Talked to Wiley at Racetech about my gold valves and tuning for my forks....
Everything is still in pieces everywhere, but closer to making it look like something soon.

Your clutch boss and basket look marked.
It should be worth to adjust them.

Looking real good and expensive. Are those Jolly Moto pipes look real nice. Keep up the good work. I love reading these reports and looking at the pics only thing worries me I will have to do engine rebuild some time soon.

Jolly Moto. :smt023
I had been trying to get a set of pipes made by TSA but ran out of time.
After spending what I did on the pipes, there is no way I can stop at this point
I can almost see a glimpse of light way down to the end of the tunnel now

They have dents made by the discs.
And this affects the free movement of these discs.
Typical result will be neutral hard to find.
