Hi AX-Racing! Wonderful projects! A question regarding the clutch cover. Have you made it yourself, or available to buy?

Alex - ah, yes, the quest for suitable materials for 3D printed intake manifolds.
I have been looking for this answer as I have 3D models for intakes for my TZ250 and a design for my 500 ready to go.
The issue is that of the materials that may be fuel resistant, they end up being slightly gas permeable so might be a source for air leak.
One material I have been pointed to is 3D printed Titanium. It would be light, fuel resistant and can be printed densely enough to not be gas permeable.
Cost of course is a concern.

Some friends are running with a Pet-G 3d printed mainfolds
or ABS+aluminium powder, seems with no issues at all
so i'm first looking for domestic 3d printer material before going to a professional services
instead of titanium, also aluminium could be 3d printed with sls technology, cheaper than titanium
but not home-made
i will make some test putting material into gasoline
about temperature i think that ABS will be ok until 100° C
and about leaks, it caould be coated with paint
............i'll keep you updated

Awesome work Alex. I know it's not in Italy, but we had this company demonstrating their capabilities at work and it was impressive.
