Like I said before there is a potential day coming that those mass killing machines will protect all we hold dear, family, property, life itself.

I hope I'm long dead before that day comes.

Im pretty sure I've owned more assault/illegal weapons than all the U.S. mass murders combined, "NOT" through Ideology...just fun. What really changed it for me. "completley" was the 2006West Nickel Mines (Amish) schoolhouse murder. Some fucker claimed he was mad @ "GOD" for a death if his newborn child..although he still had 3 other kids & wife..so he decided it was appropriate to
line up& tie together 10 little 6-13 yr old Amish girls against a chaulkboard & shooting them all..killing 5 of them.
Then obviouslly the "Sandy Hook" extermination. Read the ages of the taken & if one can not say that (any kind) of prevention possible might just save a "few" that it wouldnt be worth it, including (sensible) gun legislation.
If it were possible right here right now, I'd trade my life for those innocent children murdered by indaviduals whom triumphed in their horrendous acts by utilizing guns made specifically for the "sole purpose of killing humans".
America is a blip on the map as far as human history & one day like all other civilizations it will likley cease to exist..(excluding China...lol) So I have only 2 weapons now, I dont need the guns, & if I do ..its over anyways...just like the bomb. Most of us will starve to death within a month or two regardless of if were protecting our familiys with our latest & greatest killing tools. So tragically sad when you read lists like these. "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few". Its my opinion of course & my choice..my life is nothing compared to what has been lost.
This is ultimately a pointless topic...as all humans are eventually going to perish from this planet...but as long as were all still here we have lists such as this this......

@ Questo vecchio rz

And that is completely your prerogative to do so.

My empathy does not drive me to completely change my life because of the acts of deranged people. Simply because deranged people will find whatever means necessary to harm others. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-26402367" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-china-23460907" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. From these reports we should ban 'Assault Knives" too.

This is a heart of man issue not a gun issue or a knife issue or any kind of tool issue.

This has now become a typical gun thread.

Well, yes, obviously, but you've completely missed the point.

Okay, here's my solution for today.

Think about how many people have a driver's licence.

What if that many US citizens also had a carry permit and carried a firearm?

Some may say that they don't want to live in fear.

I'm saying nobody's in fear. Just that most Americans can't wait to kill a terrorist.

I'd be willing to pay for a licence and carry if it would make a real difference. :smt102

I think saying that it's a problem with evil in a mans heart from a Christian point of view is putting blinders on. It is his religion, or at least his twisted perception of it that led him to this act in the first place. When a person is willing to die for their beliefs with absolute conviction that they are doing the work of their God and are going to a better place because of it you will never win by taking the higher moral ground based on values that are diametrically opposed to theirs. Until people are willing to throw Political Correctness out the window and embrace the fact that some peoples fundamental rights and freedoms will be trampled on to benefit the common good this problem will never go away.

Typical gun thread is right. Thats all there ever is.

I've changed alot since my 20s, been to probably 200 gun shows, events, competitions, gun ranges etc.. Im nowhere even remotley the same person, not even close. Ive picked what side I choose to stand with, I think the (hard core) gun owners & rights extremists are F-ing lunatics and certainlly living with fear & I could care less what they think of me or my views.
Im living my short life as I want it to be as best to my ability.
Ive been living my entire life as all Americans have with aproximatly a average of 1500 nuclear warheads aimed right up our asses, Im almost 50 , also live my life in a so called dangerous big city..Sure I've had some painfully close calls..probably more than many here, but I'm doing just fine as is every single person I know. Luck or divine intervention? Who knows. Only got make it another 25-40 years...lol
Watch...Now I'll get murdred or blown up tomorrow...lol

No point..in any further discussions on this site regarding this topic as far as meeti g eye to eye, it will never happen. Cats & Dogs. I'd rather get along than argue even if we dont morally like one anothers views. Its more fun to talk about any & everything regarding motorcycles. One thing we can all agree on in America, we can say pretty much whatever we want..within reason & no ones gonna do shit to you for saying it either.
