Looked like a real blast. Was a fun series to see develop. Must be great to ride at such a nice track with your friends. Keep on living. Be safe.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for that report, it was a great laugh all weekend meeting up with the lads again.
Fingers crossed that I am lucky enough to get another invite to one of the races next year.

Ah the Glasses!
Everyone laughed at first, but they all wanted to try them on !

I am the only one that makes an LC250 look like a superbike, even my XS Helmet looks far too big.

Thanks again for the magazine report.

Thanks Vin,

I was very lucky to hang on as I fell apart like a cheap watch, towards the end of the last lap!
I got a bit too excited.

Here's a link to a few photos of the weekend.

Great pics Johnny, a perfect complement to the article. Don't be surprised when they invite you back if it comes with a stipulation that you carry a dozen pies around the track with you as ballast.

I have been asked if I would post this on the forum.
so here's the link for the Pro-am race:-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kheRxNZEfE0&t=1s" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I wasn't sure whether this would be suitable, however this was the week after the Cadwell Park Pro-am race.

I am very lucky to go to the Isle of Man TT races to watch each year, and I also take part in the Classic TT "Parade lap" in August at the Classic TT
I took my Spondon/Len Manchester Yamaha 500 for the Parade lap for the past few years and have got some on board footage.

Classic TT "Parade lap" August this year.
Ridding the "Mermaid" Yamaha 500 Spondon Len Manchester World F1 bike.
Brian Reid's old bike.
Unfortunately the video stopped recording half way round the lap but you get the idea.
I couldn't thrash the old girl too much as shes very valuable.

She wasn't handling to good as the rear of the bike was weaving through most of the corners & going through the whole bike, just like the rear wheel was loose, you can see through the camera shacking sideways, like the bike was "white lining". So I had to take it a bit easy, you can hear this as I had to roll the throttle off a lot under acceleration, but wasn't too bad.
I will sort this out at a track day next year.
It's probably due to my lack of weight!

Just finishing the lap at Governors Dip.

Josh Brookes took a shine to her.

I hope you like it.

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.

Best regards
Johnny C.
