Engine number help

I wonder if anyone can help me decipher this engine number 1AZ-432007 ?

Thoughts much appreciated.

Hmm... In a word 'no'.

This number looks very close to the Ringer being sold on ebay a few weeks back

Avoid it like the plague its what we term 'a ringer' for sure. A ringer is a stolen bike that has been renumbered using paperwork from a crashed bike, often not the right model. The UK was rife with this in the 80s.

So while it may have paperwork, its not correct and never will be without another frame and engine cases and even then it was still stolen and you will know that deep down.

1AZ is not listed as a Yamaha model .
