Making Track video and telemetry

#1 Post by rz500guytexas » Tue Aug 18, 2020 11:00 pm

Lost my go pro at last track day by not tethering it correctly due to a broken mount. I purchased a Garmin VIRB 30 and has all sorts of functions and the editing software allows me to add data. Tried it on my bike and works pretty well. With WiFi and satellite it should show my line lap by lap. On the videos was thinking speedo that has brake and acceleration on gauge, a G meter, a roll gauge or lean angle, a track map with location, lap timer with current lap, fastest lap, and best lap. Getting a bluetooth heart rate monitor that will link to the Garmin. Anyone have suggestions on what layout will look good or anything else.

I don't know about that stuff. But have been wondering if you've had the tz out since laguna , and how you are getting along with it now.
