I have rebuilt my RG engine and when I went to start the bike, nothing, zipo, nadda - not even a cough.
Well after inspecting everything I worked out that the crank did not have a cut out for the crank position sensor.
WTF... did I put the cranks in wrong??? What have I done.
The bike sat like this for 12 months as I gave it the bird every time I went passed.
But now is the time to fix this, out the engine came and after opening the cases I found the a-hole that did my cranks git the bearings around the wrong way, the C clip.
So I can swap the cranks around as I have in the picture.
I cant even remember who rebuilt the cranks it was 3-4 years ago.
Like most RG now it will not be doing huge KM... but weekend blasts.
Does anyone see an issue here, the middle gear is 180-deg out and will run the opposite direction than before.
The line up dot is on the wrong side.........
The crank web will be on the opposite sides.
What else will be wrong?
Gut feel is this SHOULD be ok.. but I am no expert.
Comments please.

Yes it's rebuilt wrong. The notched flywheel side has plain bearings, the clipped bearing goes on the other side of the center gear with the clip facing the seal and the other crank wheels. Get it rebuilt correctly.

So, the bearings are in the correct position, but the webs on the lower crank in the photo have been put on the wrong sides? The web with the cutout should be on the plain bearing/flywheel side?

Yes correct - all the bearings are the right way around, it is only the webs that are the wrong way around.
I can not see any season this will cause a problem.
As you can see the cut out is on the wrong side other wise everything is the same as it should be.

It is a good idea to split the lower crank and put back the correct way.
Keep in mind the pickup reads from the rear crank, not sure if this works but you can put a dial and verify whether you can get away by keeping it the way it is.
I am no expert and this is just a suggestion.
