I'm wondering if its character remains essentially the same, just more .... attitude.
Or if its become more of a torquer.
125 done to 144 dirt bikes seem to be the former, but even my beta 200, bore and stroke altered, is still fairly zippy.
Custom pipes or ?
it has made it so much quicker than a 500 with good power starting at 3500 rpm it has massive torque compared to my old 500 would leave it for dead, neither are standard, its made it a much better road bike, so much so that i am in the middle of building another one with slight changes including a 90 degree firing order, no balance shaft, and will be in a higher state of tune, hope to have it finished next year

I’ve just sent mine for repair and tacked on the modification so I can match valve openings to whatever I finally choose as my pipes. I’ll let you know if I have any issues but he does come well recommended, even if he does sound like a character from Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. 🙂
