Needle bearings for Shock. Better part number?

#1 Post by hailwood1965 » Thu Oct 07, 2021 8:19 pm

Looking to replace the needle bearings in my rear shock "arm". They look like pretty basic needle/roller bearings. I'm using the yamaha 93317-32034 part number and not finding much. Is there a better option or better supplier?

TIA

Hi Hale,
Wemoto do the swinging arm bearings for £27. I've used these and they are fine.

All bearings from wheel bearings to swing arm bearings are standard parts. Most of them are available as you find them in the bike from 1984/85, some are a bit different.
One of the wheel bearings in only "made in Taiwan" available instead of "made in Japan" (Yamaha part).
Other bearings have a plastic cage instead of a metal cage.

You can read manufacturer name and number on the bearing.
