Aprillia track day COTA after Moto GP with Max Biaggi

Decided to ride with the big bikes and get Max's autographs on the bikes. Max was very cordial and we talked a little about his world speed record on the electric bike. He was busy so some photos with him and let him do his thing. Took both bikes with the 500 acting up so after working on carbs decided to park it. The 250 was running rich with weather change so changed mains two sizes down. Saw 1,175 EGT on back straight so was happy. Gearing still off. Have seen 140 out of it but did not record gearing set up. Cramped up early in day after working on the ground on the 500 but loosened up. The race track resurface is great. A few bumps but surface has great adhesion and is super smooth. Hardly tell your puck is on track.

Accidentally went out with advanced group next to last session. We saw everyone staged early so I blended in only to find out the mistake later. I was rushed when I went out not knowing was A group. Never really warmed my brakes. I was wondering why I was slower in the esses to only find out the other riders were faster and braking later. I went in hot at turn 11 and managed to not hit anyone. So posting what not to do at a track day. Ran my best lap the session before and I know there is a bit left in the bike, but not me it appears. Hope you all enjoy.
