Zeeltronic error code???

I have the zeeltronic ppv-rg2 saec exhaust valve controller for my RG500. When I plug it in it powers up and shows a "error 1" code which means position sensor error or servo motor disconnected. The servo motor is not disconnected.... Not sure what the position sensor error refers to. When the valves are open the line hash mark on the pulley lines up with the tab on the saec pulley housing. I'm able to cycle the valves open and closed with the programmer.....

I have the programmer set to "close" the saec valves at 7100rpm and open the at 7000 rpm.
Any ideas???? Thanks.
